I was introduced to supplements 15 years ago by my kickboxing trainer. I was a bit hesitant at first, but decided I would try them. It was the best choice I made in my wellness journey. Although supplements are not necessary for good nutrition, I currently use supplements from Sportron, who believes in providing constitutional support for the body to maintain optimum health by providing the nutrients to maximize the innate ability of the body to heal itself.
Remember the 80/20 rule! Your journey to a healthier you is 80% what you eat and 20% exercise workout. It's not about dieting; it's about changing your eating habits to align with your goals. It's a lifestyle, not a short term fix.
General Nutrition consist of eating a wide variety of fresh, whole (unprocessed), foods, which is essential for living a healthy life. Good nutrition can be simple, like good training - learn the basics and practice them consistently. A good nutritional regimen may include:
• Drinking plenty of water (8-10 glasses a day)
• Fresh fruits and vegetables
• Vitamins and supplements
• Fiber and Protein rich foods
• Whole Foods
This is not a race! Having a solid nutrition strategy/plan will allow you to be successful
